40 Random Acts of Kindness

Showing kindness to friends and family, a stranger, or even yourself is a wonderful thing. By doing something out of the goodness of your heart without expecting something in return, you can help turn someone's day around!

The phrase "It's better to give than to receive" is one that I wholeheartedly believe, and not just for Christmas presents either! By giving, you not only feel good about yourself, but like I said above, you help make someone's day a bit better too.

Acts of kindness don't need to be big or elaborate, but you can guarantee that whoever is on the receiving end of your kindness will surely remember what you did for them. Help make someone's day a bit brighter by doing one of these things in the list!

1. Give someone your seat on the bus or train.

As you can see, there are so many acts of kindness that you can do that are sure to make someone's day. You have so much power in you to be a source of positivity!

You may be the only person someone meets that day that is a source of positivity, so make sure you use that opportunity to be a force of good. Not all of these acts are for other people; there are some that are also directed at you. Looking after yourself and being kind to yourself is just as important as being kind to other people and if you can do yourself a small act of kindness everyday, you're going to feel way better.

I'll see you in the next one!
